starting from the most recent and in no particular order..
bill t. jones/arnie zane @ shubert 10/22/04
i always leave bill t shows feeling kind of the same way--happy that i was there, curious about what i saw, but ultimately unsatifisied. i'm left with holes that i didn't have before. the piece i liked the most was the gift/no god logic, choreographed by zane. of course i can't tell you much about any of the pieces. the movement seems to flow out and past. i could tell you the story of reading, mercy and the artificial nigger, but that wouldn't really be the point. there are images scattered through out all of the pieces that i wish i could hold onto in my head, but as they flow in, pause (sigh), flow out, onto the next one, there is no chance.
other pieces performed: there were... and mercy 10x8 on a circle
